Chainsaw carving is a fast growing form of art that combines the modern technology of the chainsaw with the ancient art of wood carving.
Ross learned to use a chainsaw as part of his work in tree surgery, and became comfortable in it’s use. He saw far too much good timber going to waste and so he learned how to make sculptures using his chainsaw.
Almost anything you can think of can be carved out of wood, so if there’s something you have in mind, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss your ideas.
Ross uses his saw from start to finish, producing what amounts to a detailed sketch in wood. The other tools he uses to complete the sculpture are sanders, angle grinders and a blow torch for detailing.
The finishing time for carvings can be hours, or depending on size, even a few days.
Our carvings can be small or large scale free standing sculptures, ‘on site’ or live tree carvings and outdoor furniture.
Chainsaw carvings can be purchased from as little as £50 so why not call us today for your free quotation
